Dr. Ilan Ben Yaakov

VP of Learning Experiences

Ilan Ben Yaakov received his PhD in Jewish Thought for his thesis on the attitude of Jewish Law (Halacha) to technology and electricity. He has developed syllabi and trained teachers at the Ben-Gurion Heritage Institute.

Segal Stein Lior

Segal manages the testing and pilots programs in MindCET and oversees technology adoption processes in schools.

Has an experience as a theater director, with a degree in theater and humanities. Worked in the Ministry of Education, developing programs and guiding professional development for teachers in the Division for Research Thinking and the Division for the Arts. Loves to study, explore and discover.

Dr. Rachel Knoll

Head of Teachers' Programs

Holds a PhD of Physics, managed the “United” school in Yeruham and established the physics department in the schools in Yeruham, a partner in programs and projects to increase the number of girls studying physics, in collaboration with the Gender Equality Unit in the Ministry of Education. Winner of the De Shalit Prize as an Outstanding National Physics Teacher, 2009

Ran holds a master’s degree in technology and learning from Tel Aviv University. Twenty years in education, and the last twelve in technology and education. Leads development partnerships with organizations and academic institutions in Israel and around the world.

Tal Redler

Head of GESAwards

Manages the connections between MindCET and partners from around the world. Connects between technological solutions and field needs and lives on the line between local and international.

Mother of 3 boys, lives in Midreshet Ben Gurion in the Negev. Has a B.A in Biology and Education and M.A in Early Childhood Education. In previous years worked ith youth and adult groups from the Jewish Diaspora and built connections between sectors in Israel. Likes travelling, human beings and animals.

Dana Michealovich

Holds a BA in Media and English literature, and MA in Media from Tel Aviv University. Researched implementation of advanced technologies in traditional institutions and has rich background as an entrepreneur and founder of a startup in the filed of culture-tech. Previous roles include managing sales and business development in EMEA for a global tourism tech company and editing and producing content in TheMarker.

Matan Bar Sela

Before joining MindCET, Matan was a product manager in the Cyber Intelligence industry, leading an innovative forensic AI security platform. Previously, he was a UXR consultant at one of the top management consulting firms in Israel specializing in government digital transformation. Matan holds an MDes from the Technology Design School of Bezalel Academy, and a BA in Economics from the Hebrew University.

Ph.D. in science teaching from the Weizmann Institute of Science – Gamification, FLOW and meaningful learning in the field of physics teaching.

Engaged in education and science education, in a variety of positions, since 2002.
